CAMRA was launched with WA Mozart's complete piano sonatas performed on fortepiano by CAMRA's director, Colin Forbes, in a series of concerts between July 1998 and July 2000.
Opera soprano Amanda Forbes gave a superb solo recital for CAMRA during a visit to Canberra in 2006.
On 13 October 2007, Tanaja Doss (soprano) and Leila Fetter (mezzo) were accompanied by Jennifer Kain OAM (piano) and Colin Forbes (piano) for Love is a many-splendoured thing a evening of song on the theme of love.
In Basically Bartók or Mostly Mikrokosmos, on 17 November 2007, the students of Colin Forbes presented programs of piano music from the 6 volumes of Mikrokosmos by Béla Bartók, together with some other pieces by Bartók.
In November 2008, Colin gave a recital of piano works by Ludwig van Beethoven in memory of the Revd Rob Lamerton, rector of St Philip's and long-time friend of CAMRA.
Colin followed this in June 2009 with a fine concert recital of five of Beethoven's piano sonatas.
Four Sundays in May and June 2010 made up A Month of Sundays, four afternoon vocal concerts, each featuring four Canberra singers accompanied by Colin Forbes. The Sundays of August 2011 again made up A Month of Sundays, with Canberra singers and musicians.
Crossover, presented in June 2010, was a highly amusing and finely sung concert of men singing songs for women and women singing songs for men!
On 31 July 2010, The Wilhelm Quartet from the Royal Academy of Music, London — Marciana Buta (violin), Margaret Dziekonski (violin), Glen Donnelly (viola) and Hetty Snell (cello) — joined with Colin Forbes (piano) for quartets by Beethoven and Schumann, followed by the Brahms Piano Quintet in F minor.
