Chaos in the Choir, 7 and 8 December 2012
Act Two
Let's do
Messiah differently this year.
Messiah can be tedious and boring — all those long arias; we've prepared a version with more audience appeal!

Sceptical.

'How beautiful are the feet … well, Madeleine's feet anyway.

Chris emulates 'The people that walked in darkness'.

'There were shepherds abiding in their fields …' (Alison)

'… when, suddenly, the angel of the Lord came upon them'.

Leila sings, 'He was despisèd' … because he dumped her by text.

'Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice gladly …'

Not amused.

If there aren't enough men to sing the 'Hallelujah' chorus, bring your own.

Director Colin announces that we
won't do
Messiah this year after all. Instead, we'll sing a superb Christmas concert.
